Audi has unveiled the new generation of the S3 for its hatchback and sedan models. At the heart of the two models is a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, producing 306 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.

The TFSI unit is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission and quattro drive system, a setting that allows cars to reach 62 mph (100 km / h) in 4.8 seconds, and reach an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km / h). the clock).

The standard suspension features a four-link rear axle, and the S Sport suspension can be installed, enhancing comfort and dynamism. Stopping power is provided by a new electric brake booster and four brake discs.

The front fascia is dominated by a large rhombus single-frame grille, three air intakes between the bumper and hood, and wide openings under the headlights.

The pre-sale will begin this month in Europe, and the first cars will reach dealers in early October. In Germany, prices will start at € 46,302.53 ($ 54,475) for the new S3 Sportback and € 47,179.83 ($ 55,505) for the S3 sedan.

The first edition should be available for a limited time in Pyhton Yellow for the Sportback and Tango Red for the sedan, with 19-inch wheels, black accents and premium Nappa leather upholstery.
